A place to start.
Well, little one, you’re about to be born and here I am sitting down to write to your sister, something I’ve been meaning to do in earnest for over two years…since she was born.
I can feel you tumbling around in my belly, playing as you always have in your joyful bubble. Your sister wasn’t as active as you are and it makes me enjoy pregnancy in new and wonderful ways when I feel you wiggle and shift, especially when you do it to be closer to her.
The past two and a half years have been transformational, to say the least. Before you will have come into this world in physical form, my life will have been reinvented about fifty times, all since I aligned with your father.
The past four years have been interesting, challenging, humbling, and beautiful - dark, light, and everything in between. I wouldn’t trade them for the world. I’m the type of person who embodies her experiences to the fullest. I feel them deeply and express myself honestly through them without even having to try (and without apology, I might add). And I don’t take them lightly. The bigger they are, the more I want to share them with the world and give them a place to shine. With them I want to learn, teach, grow, and so much more.
And so I do. With it comes this space where I get to explore and divulge to you AND the world all at once.
XO
